Project Tradeshow: 101

Project-Tradeshow-webTradeshows are scary. Or are they?

Just like most mysteries in life, once you break down a Tradeshow, it’s really pretty simple – in theory.

Theory: You get yourself together, go to a show and sell your stuff.

Reality: There are hundreds of tiny and some huge decisions you make every step of the way. Preparing for a Tradeshow is multi-tasking at its multi-est!

The prospect of exhibiting at a Tradeshow  can be overwhelming. Where do you exhibit?, How do you find out about shows?, What’s it really like?, Am I too small? Don’t I need to be a big corporation? What types of Small Businesses show there? Will I get lot’s of orders and what if I don’t?

All these questions and more probably have gone through your head if you have ever considered exhibiting at a Tradeshow.

That’s where I come in. I’ve been involved with Tradeshows for most of my adult and even semi-adult life. I have worked them, shopped them and, as a Small Biz owner of La Dolce Diva, I have exhibited at them.

I bet the exhibiting is the bit you want to hear about? Yes?! Yes.

Before I tell you bit more about the Project, why don’t you stop and sign-up for our Newsletter. You’ll receive VIP treatment with inside information and a deep discount code!

Project Tradeshow: 101, A Step-By-Step Guide of How To Survive Your First Tradeshow, will take you through every crawl, walk, run step of the way.

These are some of the questions that will be answered:

  • Am I ready to exhibit? How do I know? Will I ever be ready? How do plan?
  • How does  a Tradeshow work? Who runs this thing? Where are they?
  • How do I plan a booth? What’s a booth? How do I set up and tear-down?
  • How do I get my stuff there? How do I get it home or to the next show?
  • How do I get buyers into my booth? Then what do I do? How do I pre-qualify a buyer? Who is wasting my time? How do I get them to leave?
  • What kind of buyers come to the show? What do attendance numbers mean?
  • Are the other exhibitors nice? Will they copy me? Sabotage me?
  • What materials should I have prepared? Catalogs, price sheets, samples?
  • Do I need a show special? What’s a show special?
  • How far in advance should I plan? When do these shows happen?
  • Don’t I need a rep to go to a Tradeshow? What’s a rep? What’s a showroom?
  • How much does it cost? How much?!Are there any hidden charges?
  • Is it worth it? Will I make my money back? What if I don’t get any orders? What if I do?

All this and much more will be covered in this soon to be released e-book.

From the drudgery of endless lists, the excitement of planning, headaches of execution, stress and exhilaration of set-up, the actual show atmosphere, taking orders, to tear down; I’ll be with you every step of the way.

You’ll get inside information that you will never get unless you have already exhibited at a Tradeshow. The time, money and stress I’ll save you will be worth the price of the show itself.
